Kash Mehdi is an intuitive personality with 7+ years experience in data management, business intelligence, analytics & research. Kash is recognized as a team player with extensive knowledge in result oriented technologies. He has proven success in research, design & implementation of data management solutions related to core business data problems. His career started as a quality analyst at a telecom corporation; lead an effort to improvise process change management. He also worked for a healthcare provider as a credentialing executive; researched & designed real-time databases to capture electronic health records (EHR). After working for two different industries, Kash joined Earthlink Internet Services as a retention specialist where he developed business processes, lead research on order to cash datasets & contribution to corporations overall revenue rate. Kash earned several awards & recognitions while serving these organizations.
His previous role as a researcher at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) under CTSA grant include designing an ontology driven data quality framework to collect clinical trial data to support cancer research + integration with I2B2. His research was predominantly related to future scientific research in the bio-banking field. He developed a java based data collection portal using graph database technology to support medical researchers effectively store bio-specimen data with corresponding ontologies. Kash also has a masters degree in information quality from University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) in collaboration with MIT. He has published research papers for ICIQ, SE Regional IDeA & ITNG conferences. He has also appeared as a guest speaker at University of Arkansas at Little Rock to address topics around data quality & governance. Kash also appeard in international data management conferences, interacting with larger audiences involving industry leaders & data practitioners.
