- Compare concurrency tests of 5.6 vs 5.7
- Summarize reduced history size
- Explain summary lineage diagrams
In this course, we will address several performance improvements in the 5.7 release. The improvements include scalability, illustrating improved response times with growing volume and hardware, and the repository and backup sizes have been reduced due to reduced history size. Disabling automatic hyperlinking has resulted in a significant performance leap, and the new summary lineage node is a collapsed boxing node, where all contained nodes and edges have been removed. This results in diagrams that render more quickly with less demands on the client side.
