During his 20+ years of management consulting services experience at leading consultancies EY and PwC, Simon helped financial services institutions design and implement information and data governance processes to support internal, external, and regulatory reporting.

Simon holds a bachelor’s degree in economic policy (with honors) from the University of Stirling, Scotland. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Accountant in England and Wales.

Koen Van Duyse

koenKoen is responsible for managing a team of sales engineering experts, while they pitch risk, finance and compliance solutions to top tier banks and financial institutions. As Pre-Sales Director, Koen guides his team as they provide technical and commercial input to sales, responds to RFI’s and RFP’s and creates proposals. His versatility in various sectors provides insight and direction as his team builds and presents demos, proof of concepts and various solutions to clients.

Kash Mehdi

kashKash Mehdi is an intuitive personality with 7+ years experience in data management, business intelligence, analytics & research. Kash is recognized as a team player with extensive knowledge in result oriented technologies. He has proven success in research, design & implementation of data management solutions related to core business data problems. His career started as a quality analyst at a telecom corporation; lead an effort to improvise process change management. He also worked for a healthcare provider as a credentialing executive; researched & designed real-time databases to capture electronic health records (EHR). After working for two different industries, Kash joined Earthlink Internet Services as a retention specialist where he developed business processes, lead research on order to cash datasets & contribution to corporations overall revenue rate. Kash earned several awards & recognitions while serving these organizations.

His previous role as a researcher at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) under CTSA grant include designing an ontology driven data quality framework to collect clinical trial data to support cancer research + integration with I2B2. His research was predominantly related to future scientific research in the bio-banking field. He developed a java based data collection portal using graph database technology to support medical researchers effectively store bio-specimen data with corresponding ontologies. Kash also has a masters degree in information quality from University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) in collaboration with MIT. He has published research papers for ICIQ, SE Regional IDeA & ITNG conferences. He has also appeared as a guest speaker at University of Arkansas at Little Rock to address topics around data quality & governance. Kash also appeard in international data management conferences, interacting with larger audiences involving industry leaders & data practitioners.
